Solar eclipse, which will last for 1 hour 45 minutes in India will be visible for more than an hour in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Jaipur, Indore, Thane, Bhopal, Ludhiana, Agra, Chandigarh, Ujjain, Mathura, Porbandar, Gandhinagar, Silvasa, Surat, Panaji etc. in India. On the second day of Dev Deepavali around the world, the lunar eclipse will be visible in most parts of North and Eastern Europe, Asia, Australia, Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, North America and South America.
Cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Lucknow, Kanpur, Nagpur, Visakhapatnam, Patna, Mangaluru, Coimbatore, Ooty, Varanasi, and Thiruvananthapuram, will see the eclipse for less than an hour.
ઉજ્જૈનના જ્યોતિષાચાર્ય પં. મનીષ શર્માના જણાવ્યા પ્રમાણે ભારતમાં ચંદ્ર ગ્રહણ ચંદ્રના ઉદય સાથે સાંજે 5.20 વાગ્યાથી જોવા મળશે. આ ચંદ્ર ગ્રહણ મેષ રાશિમાં થશે. ગ્રહણનું સૂતક ગ્રહણના 9 કલાક પહેલાં એટલે સવારે 8.20 વાગ્યાથી શરૂ થશે. સૂતક સાંજે 6.20 વાગે પૂર્ણ થઈ જશે. વિવિધ ક્ષેત્રોમાં ચંદ્ર ઉદયનો સમય અલગ-અલગ રહે છે, આ કારણે ગ્રહણના સૂતકનો સમય પણ વિવિધ રહેશે.
ચંદ્રગ્રહણ સાથે જોડાયેલી ખાસ વાતો
1. હિન્દુ ધર્મની માન્યતાઓ અનુસાર ખાસ કરીને ગર્ભવતી મહિલાઓએ ગ્રહણના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન કાળજી લેવી જોઈએ.
4. ચંદ્રગ્રહણનો સુતક સમયગાળો અશુભ માનવામાં આવે છે.
5. સુતક કાળની શરૂઆત પછી પૂજા વગેરે જેવા શુભ કાર્યો કરવામાં આવતા નથી.
6. ચંદ્રગ્રહણ દરમિયાન યાત્રા કરવી ખૂબ જ અશુભ માનવામાં આવે છે. તેથી ગ્રહણના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન મુસાફરી ટાળવી જોઈએ.
7. ચંદ્રગ્રહણ દરમિયાન વ્યક્તિએ સૂવું ન જોઈએ અથવા તીક્ષ્ણ વસ્તુઓનો ઉપયોગ કરવો જોઈએ નહીં.
